1. 01 As a kid, I broke my arm badly playing soccer. The bone snapped in half, my arm dangling at a right angle. I left the hospital with an eye patch and my arm in a sling. My morale was at rock bottom.
2. 02 The first sign that my career would be in publishing came from a small publisher in Marseille that published pornographic comics. Since there was no internet, I went to look for references in suburban newsstands, with fake mustaches and dark glasses.
3. 03 At 18, to celebrate graduation, I left for Ireland. We spent a few days drinking beer, sleeping in the car, and bailing water from the tent. But what really mattered was that we had managed to put our lives on the road.
