- 01 As a kid, I broke my arm badly playing soccer. The bone snapped in half, my arm dangling at a right angle. I left the hospital with a bandage over my eye and my arm in a sling. My spirits were in the gutter.
- 02 The first sign that my career would be in publishing came from a small publisher in Marseille that published porn comics. Since there was no internet, I went to look for references in suburban newsstands, with fake moustaches and dark glasses.
- 03 At 18, to celebrate graduating, I left for Ireland. We spent a few days drinking beer, sleeping in the car, and bailing water out of the tent. But what really mattered was that we had managed to put our lives on the road.
« I cannot be biased. Monferrato was the setting of my childhood. A happy and carefree childhood, filled with summer holidays. Among its soft hills, combed by rows of Barbera and Grignolino vines, I was happy. Now that I've grown up, cultivating a restless, constantly moving spirit, it's here in Monferrato that I like to return. To feel at home. »
